About this class:
In this four-session course we will explore aspects of this
beautiful, haunting, meditative, exciting instrument and its music,
including:
♦ Basic scale patterns and techniques
♦ Special effects and extended skills
♦ Creating your own music
♦ History and culture of the Native flute
Previous musical experience is NOT required.
A high-quality Native American flute
will be available for each student *
Course fee: $95
* Additional material cost of $50 for a Native American
flute for those that need one (if you have an A-minor pentatonic
Native American flute, you may use that)

Instuctor: Cornell Kinderknecht
Cornell Kinderknecht is a World Flutes performing and
recording artist as well as
a teacher. He currently has two solo albums to his credit and can be
heard on numerous other artists' recordings. He has a private studio
of flute students in Dallas and is in demand as a performer and presenter
at music workshops and festivals around the US. With his expertise, he provides
practical hands-on instruction while his light-hearted approach puts
students at ease. Cornell has been a Texas Music Awards nominee twice
and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of
Earth Rhythms.
